These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Podventory’s website and apps. By using Podventory, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Podventory helps you search, discover, and play podcasts. We provide a catalog, player, and personal library features. The service may change over time as we improve or add features.
Podcast content and RSS feeds
Podcast titles, descriptions, artwork, and episode metadata are sourced from publicly available RSS feeds and open catalog data provided by publishers. Podventory does not host podcast audio. When you play an episode, audio is streamed from the publisher’s own URL. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or legality of third-party content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Podventory in any unlawful way or to infringe others’ rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service beyond normal personal use.
- Circumvent technical measures or access non-public areas of our systems.
- Use automated means to extract catalog data at scale without our written permission.
Accounts
You can sign in with Google or Apple to sync your library across devices, export your data, or delete your account from Account settings. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Intellectual property
Podventory’s name, logo, software, and design are our property or our licensors’. Podcast content belongs to its respective creators and publishers.
Disclaimer
Podventory is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any podcast will remain available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Podventory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or third-party podcast content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.
Suspension
We may suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties.
Governing law and consumers
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence within the EU/EEA. If you are a consumer, you benefit from any mandatory protections of your local law.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
